Are Land Rover still making Defenders and therefore taking orders for new ones?

Failing that, does anyone know of any nearly new 90s in proper farmer spec?

They are still making them but if you haven't missed the final boat for placing an order for a new one, they must surely be untying the mooring lines and drawing up the gangplank by now. Probably best to camp out at your local MD and beg for a cancelled slot?

LR have just extended production from Dec to Feb next year due to demand.

Speak to your dealer and they should still be able to order you one.

You'll be happy to know you can still rock up to your Jaguar Land Rover dealer and lay your cash down for one...

Just to close this one off, should anyone be interested...

All the dealerships we spoke to had filled their build slots, though we did find one with a cancelled XS order, so not quite the farmer spec we were after.

There are very few nearly new ones knocking around too, but we did manage to find one in the end. The deal was done and it arrived on Monday, ready to be put through its paces.
