Hi - I am getting a little bored of my current Range Rover and considering the latest RRS with the 5.0 supercharged engine. I do about 20k miles per year much on motorways and can live with early 20s mpg on a run but any less starts to feel a bit thirsty. Anyone with a current supercharged sport willing to share mpg on a run please? Many thanks for any replies.

Dedends on how you drive. 14 mile commute this morning at an average of 22 mph was 22 mpg. Same journey yesterday was 15 mpg. Best I've managed, driving like Ms Daisy, was 28 mpg. Low 20s on the motorway would be no problem.

To add, coming home from work (Dynamic mode and 'box in Sport), 13.5 miles at 19.0 mph -> 13.5 mpg smile

If you're after a fast RRS then surely better to get the fastest! The consumption on my SVR is pretty much identical to my previous 5.0L RRS - as previously mentioned in the mid-low 20s on a long run.

The other bonus is SVRs will remain pretty much depreciation-proof for a while yet too; factory only makes 10 a week for worldwide production hence there's still a 10-12 month wait for new...... Oh yeah, and I'm selling mine if interested!!

I lost £14k+ on my supercharged in 8 months - mainly because the SVR came out and those wanting a fast RRS will opt for the SVR everytime - if they can get hold of one!

I have an older RRS SC (2010) but have covered some 35000 miles in 2.5 yrs and generally see a return of c21 mpg combined (which is better than the manufacturers estimation of, I think, 19mpg). I have achieved 23-24 mpg on long motorway runs, and clearly less on off road or spirited driving. Highly recommended car.
