Maybe they make the mistake of thinking people are not a bit thick?
It is the same for every car out there.
Only you know how you drive, so if it is a concern test it properly. It isn't rocket science.
Maybe the other way round? ie assume manufacturers are all completely incorrect in their data to the point of ignoring all information provided? It is the same for every car out there.

But they're not, I have had cars that I have beaten the official figures for, on the type of driving I am doing, it is about buying the right car for the driving you are going to do. gizlaroc said:

If that's the case then is it just LR taking the ps? - I was trying to be respectful by bringing others into the fray.If its about buying the right car it potentially doesn't stack, up as people could choose it for mpg in its class etc. At what point does mpg become an issue against manufacturers info - 20mpg? 10mpg?

But you sit there all angry at Land Rover. That'll show 'em.
Yawn, is this 'debate' still going on?
OP, just reject the car or change it if you aren't happy - clearly it's a conspiracy between Land Rover, advertisers, the NEDC testing authorities, car manufacturers and the government to pick on you and steal your hard earned.
Would you give travel agents this much grief if it rains for a bit on your holiday, but the brochure shows you the hotel in glorious sunshine?

Thats not really a comparison to this situation - If the view was of a brick wall not a mountain as per the brochure of the room and I was going to be there for 3 years yes I would! Gassing Station | Land Rover | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
