Fitting Luggage Rails
Discussion
Hi All,
I've bought a set of luggage rails for my 2014 Evoque but the fitting instructions are nothing short of useless.
I understand I need to cut the side panels which in itself is bloody stupid however I can't seem to actually get them out and am a bit concerned about breaking them (or something) if I force them.
Any idea / thoughts / advice on cutting the trim whilst it's in place (using a Black & Decker Oscillator) ? That seems like a much quicker and easier option than dismantling half the car.
Any advice, pics or thoughts appreciated.
Cheers

You could always get your dealer to do it...

Not prepared to pay for something I can do myself (with a little effort). The dealer hasn't been able to work out what the knocking is from the rear drivers side despite three attempts, so to say I don't have much faith in them is a fair assessment M
