Discovery 5 first deliveries?

Hi

Anyone got any idea on Disco 5 launch date and first deliveries?

Our workhorse/family van Disco 4 is starting to get a bit tatty - and so I fancy one of these, instead of the horrible drug dealer/ Range Rover & RR Sport....!

My local stealer has no idea on launch dates. I ordered a new D4 that I picked up a few weeks ago. It's a commercial as I am pretty sure they won't offer a commercial for the D5

If you don't like the RR's then get another D4. I have a feeling the D5 will not be to your liking!

Just swapped our 2012 D4 for a last run 2016 D4 landmark because not overly sure the D5 will be what we want yet the D4 seems to fit perfectly.

Saw 2 of the test vehicles yesterday line astern on the A46 near Evesham.

On their way to Eastnor for some off-road testing possibly...

It's all rumour at the moment but most people seem to think it's about a year away from UK deliveries.

I think EC2 might be right as a friend has just put his name on his local dealers "expression of interest" list with Q2 '17 being the current estimate to change his D4

Not much TBH, wifey likes the heated steering wheel addition, and other than stop/start its virtually the same as the 12, well apart from the dodgy crank sensors that the 12 has. luckily LR outside of warranty replaced this FOC (gearbox out job). biggest concern for us was it was out of warranty and anything else could happen so it was either get a warranty or replace. Spoke to the dealer and a deal was struck that costs the same as the old one with a minimal deposit ontop, also get 5 years servicing, fresh warranty and cheaper road fund to boot.

Work told us today that they have asked LR and there won't be any new Discoveries available from Land Rover until next year for our fleet.
