Calling Defender owners who have upgraded to LED lights, well indicators to be specific.

RDX (Bolt On Bits?) and Wipac seem to be the two that jump out for front LED clear indicators.

Is there a winner, or are they both the same really?

I'm interested in a pair, but not for a Defender. The price is the same either way, just clarity and the visibility from 180°s to the side of the indicator are what matters to me. I currently have filament bulbs and am upgrading the whole lot to LED.

Am looking at this too. The only think that seems to be agreed is that the flasher relay is better from RDX as it claims it can handle any combination of LED and filament plus deal with trailers too.

I have RDX ones from boltonbits and they are fine.

A word of warning though. I fitted all four indicators and I ended up with a back feed to each side which resulted in all four lighting up regardless of which indicator I selected. The dash tell tale is shared for both sides in my old 300tdi so it needed a new earth and a diode on each side of the tell tale. It had me scratching my head for a bit!
