Hi

Can anyone tell me how the driving lamps in the front spoiler on the later Classic's are fitted, is there a bracket? If so, any ideas how to get a pair?

Thanks

Spots are usually drilled to the bumper as they are on bull bars.

These?: http://new.lrcat.com/#!/1229/80905/81471/6410
And they're on brackets.
Number 2 in the attached: http://new.lrcat.com/#!/1229/79751/79752/6332
MUC9285 and MUC9286 which are advertised by the usual suspects - Paddock, Craddocks,Rimmers etc - although you could probably make something up in stainless. The brackets on mine are what were on it when I bought the car at 8 years old in 1994 so are probably the originals but the glass on one of the lamps fell off a couple of years ago!

Mine's a 1986 & the rectangular lamps in the spoiler are driving lamps linked to the headlights - off on dip, on on main & can be switched off altogether by their switch on the lower fascia.

The copies aren't great in my experience (of Britpart and Bearmach - both have the lenses on upside down when fitted too).

I have a new surplus pair of genuine Wipac PRC8238s - might stick them on eBay looking at what they cost new...
