Just putting together a spec for 2017 Vogue and have reached wheel size.
I had RR from 1997 to 2011 ( 4.6HSE ) and not a mark on the wheels. Now have a RR Sport HSE lux and within weeks, the wheels were dinked.
Low profile is great for the road, but....
The new car will be used for normal road use, some boat towing, but little off road.
Which wheel size would most of you go for.
Also, any views on these parking systems?

I have 20" and 21" sets for my 4.4SDV8 and have driven cars with 22".

I think the 21" are the best compromise.

The 20" are for off road tyres and give a comfy ride but you do feel the sharpness in the corners has declined (but that could also be the tyres). The tyres are oversized widthwise, so the wheels are pristine.

The 22" are a bit harsh but look great - especially the turbine ones. They are sharper on cornering than anything else. My 21" ones do get dinged so I would think the 22" would be very vulnerable.

Which leaves you with the 21" ones. They are the "mummy bear" ones. Not too soft, not too harsh, not too vulnerable. And I think they look good too (although the 20" with big chunky treads look the dog's danglies).

Oh, and on the parking system, my dealer said that it is impressive but so slow that you'll use it once and then only ever use it to show off. Far quicker to park it yourself.

Thanks.
On parking system, I hear that if you try and park in a gap that has two spaces, it will plonk you in the middle , as it sees the surrounding cars and not the painted bay! And if parallel parking between two cars up on a curb, it will do the same, so dinking your wheels. Again, as it sees surrounding cars, and not the curb.

I have 22" turbines on my 5.0SC and I've dinked them a couple of times, very easy to do even though I am careful. 20"'s best for wheel protection but you lose response, I guess 21" is the compromise but you still need to watch out.
