Hi all I have recently purchased a used 64 reg Vogue SE 4.4 from a main dealer of a different brand.
All went well until I came to pick it up and after I signed the paper work and part exchange of my beloved car I was told that they had mislaid the spare key and hand book etc, blamed it on the valeting crew.
Anyway a hand book has arrived and a spare key I have been told has been ordered , but the hand book pouch? seems quite empty with just the hand book and quick start guide in it so Am I missing anything from it service book? they said it all on line with no book but I would like to be sure? If so i will get the supplying dealer to make up the missing docs etc.
Also I notice it appears I have no spare wheel lifter are these standard?
Anything else I should have received so I can get it bottomed out at once.
Cheers

Rob

In my pouch for a MY16.5 car there are:

Handbook
Quick start guide
Service, Warranty & Assistance Booklet
Diesel technology environmental responsibility brochure

I recently bought my car new and the service book is empty and has no information about my car but I am not worried at all. Everything is online these days and if you need info regarding your car's service history you should be able to get your local dealer to verify what's been done.
But, that's where the fun starts as most LR main dealer service departments are rubbish!!

Don't ask me how I know but I'm on my third L405 and they haven't put me off yet. Fantastic cars let down by below average support.

Good luck with your car, they are worth the extra effort in getting them working 100%.

cheers Just wanted to clarify what should have been in the glove box.

Does all models come with the spare tyre lifting straps?
Nothing in mine.

Only if you have a full size spare, then trust me you will need it.

Full size spare is a cost option.
