Abarth 595 145 mta

I have a 2016 180 compitizone MTA. I have read a few horror stories of the gear box failing. Stripping teeth if I remember correctly.
However you will read this about any brand and model. Some will always fail. You will have 3 years of warranty. I have 2 1/2 years of warranty left on mine. I may well trade up before the warranty expires. A guy I work with has huge warranty work carried out on his VW polo (engine). It seems like luck of the draw with cars these days.

Now who would of thunked it..
The MTA is a standard manual gearbox with an automated gear selector bolted onto the end of it, so no real problems with reliability.
There have been a few issues I've heard of where the selector has malfunctioned after a number of years, but it's an inexpensive fix and seems to be quite rare.
Oh and downshifts in Sport with the Record Monza or Record Modena exhausts sound amazing!
