Rangerover sport 5.0 V8 supercharged info wanted
Discussion
I currently drive a discovery sport which is a great car but fancy something faster, thought about a rangerover velar but not convinced some of the looks. So i was thinking for the same price a used rangerover sport 5.0 V8 supercharged, i cant afford a SVR much to the pity and there is not that many 3.0 V6 supercharged ones.
It will do mild off roading on wet grass / mud / farm tracks and ruts and pulling a trailer now and again. So maybe need to change the tyres but most are 21" alloys and i cant seem to find any decent tyres.
So has any body had one or things to look out for ? Or tyre recomendations ? I only do 5000 miles a year and commute 6 miles each way to work, so the 20 mpg should not be too bad lol
I want to stick with landrover and want a petrol, the evoque is not big enough

I know what you mean about the DS. For 15 years I had 3 Jaguar V8s culminating in a XF 5.0 V8 n/a with 385 bhp. Unfortunately, the wife found it increasingly uncomfortable so ahs felt she needed more of an armchair-like seating set up. So I changed to a DS in December, and lost about 200bhp in the process. However, I do find the DS performance pretty good for such a large car with a modest engine output, and it's quite rare that I need to get into seriously above speed limit territory.
Of course, the same bhp loss would apply to lots of similar vehicles.
