Our daughter has the loan of a 2 door whilst her own is in for repair, getting in/out the back seat is a nightmare, even with front seat forward and seat baxk folded down, still a very tight fit and difficult even for her 16 year slim daughter, are they that bad?

Do you mean a Defender? Can’t imagine a 2-door Disco 1 being used as a loan car!

It'll be a Defender 90. Plenty of room when you're back there but obviously due to the 2-door design it's more of a faff than anything 4-door...but no more so than a 2 door hatchback, really.

Make sure you've folded the seat forward and then pushed the electric switch on the side near the headrest to electrically move the seat forward to give you more room, you shouldn't really have any issues then!

Indeed, when she took me out in her Range Rover Evoque, which she has had for two years said “Don’t ask me any questions dad, I just drive it”, sums it up nicely.

Jeepers smile. Gawd help us; nobody told me. I can only presume that she was lucky that they told her that she had to open the driver's door to get in, or did they leave the window down for her.
