Changing Ninety one piece doors for older two piece ones?

I don't see any reason why not CY88
The American SV certainly has older style series doors with door tops that remove, and lift handles rather than push button type.
The hinges are the same because I was looking at one in Miami recently.
Can't say about the catches though, sorry, I couldn't see these.
I'm interested to know why you want to do this since I have converted my 1986 90 and put on a canvas truck cab roof and was thinking about changing my doors to the earlier type so I can take the tops off in the summer.
My Landy only ever comes out in dry weather these days anyway

I too want to put a canvas on the Ninety I've just purchased. The current doors need replacing (they're rusted), as do the body cappings, so I need to take the hardtop off anyway. Being used to having a Series model, the ability to take the doortops off is great in warm weather. Just need to sort out a half sized rear door as well. I think a military one would fit.

I bought a side hinged rear door at Sodbury a few years back. Its a great job for converting the back door. So they are out there if you haven't got the little lugs on the rear crossmember that the military door would fit into.
Don't underestimate the weight of the roof when you take it off. It nearly gave me and a mate a hernia when we slid it off the body. And it makes the back end very light so a bit prone to locking up under heavy braking - well it does on mine anyway but I've been told I should perhaps just clean or renew my rear pads.
You'll need to do something about seatbelts unless you got something in the new roof kit - I think there is something which attaches to the hoops at the front.
It looks damned smart when its done I can tell you that
