will go into reverse , and will go in 1,2,3 after that just revs, then shows a a fault on the dash,turn it on and off fault clears and off you go again until you try to hit 4th gear ...........any clues? is it terminal or an electrical fault.....all help appreciated.
Is the fluid up to the correct level? Check the handbook as there will be a correct way to check the level. Will likely be done at tickover selecting each gear in turn then back to neutral then check level.
