Is now a good time to buy a L322?
Discussion
Buying one of these and getting it LPG'd is starting to sound like a really sensible idea to me. For the same price of something like a new Megane you can have a RR Vogue and relatively low fuel costs.
Excuse my ignorance but does an LPG conversion effect the emissions rating, equalling lower tax?

Yes, you get a whole £10 off the road tax if it is registered with the DVLA.
However, the best part about the LPG conversion is that £ for £ it's as cheap as a regular car. I had a hire car recently through work, a 1.6 Megane. That cost as much in fuel to go to Bristol and back as it would have done in my Rangie.
Prices are in free-fall at the moment though, I'd maybe wait a bit longer before buying - you could end up with the bargain of the century.

i have to admit im a fan of black with black leather, the only other colour i really really like is the grey, most of the other colours are still fine and i would buy one in most colours, the only 2 i think are really bad is that metallic burgandy and Epsom green, while it suited the P38 so well it looks hideous on the L322 in my opiniion.
Dark green (Epsom or Tonga) is by far the best colour. The red isn't quite as bad as I expected.Leave black to the wannabe gangstas, bro.

I bought a loaded td6 last nght with sat nav 02/02 in really good nick for 15k ( and its not black! which I was trying to avoid) Blue with 19" alloys which are unmarked and immaculate cream interior.
Just noticed this post.Obi. Your car should have 18's on. Not 19's. Something to do with vibration. LR will not sell 19's or 20's for the TD6. (They stopped me upgrading when i bought mine).
may be worth checking if only for insurance peace of mind.
Another typical example of how the bottom has fell out of the market.....
