When I use my 4.4 I get high teens (usually around 18.5 mpg) but I like to press on when using the motorway.
My good lady used the car over the weekend to pop up to see her Mum in the Cotwolds. She normally cruises at around 10 mph slower than I do, but stll making progress. Glancing at the computer yesterday evening, it was showing 21.5 average.

Anyone getting mid-teens has very heavy right foot!

Agreed! On the motorway, I tend to set cruise at around 80 / 85 & always get over 20mpg. Even if I plant my foot around the lanes near me & do lots of short trips, I never get under 18mpg. As a combined, over the last 6 months I have averaged 19.5mpg, which is about the same as my wifes Audi S4 (but that gets driven a lot harder!)

Yes, they're basically the same as the BMW units (the're culled from the 5/7 series) so you can have them reconditioned.
