I have just got a 1995 P38 Range Rover - there is a mild smell of petrol in the cabin when the engine is running. Any ideas how to get rid of it (Short of opening the window)? new fuel filter??

First move is a search from front to back looking for a leak.
My bet is you will find the top of the fuel tank has rusted to pepper pot.

Fairly sure the fuel tanks are plastic on the P38.

It's not unheard of for the fuel line that connects to the fuel rail to weep at the joint. It could also be something as simple as a blocked breather for the fuel tank.

I would suspect a slight weep from a fuel line. The crap clips are notorious for loosing there tension over time.

They are plastic.
OOPs.

That will be because I'm stuck in time and have not progressed any further than RR classic.
