Sport, which one?????
Discussion
Have been looking at these for a future purchase, but seeing as there are so many variants on the market I need a bit of guidance on which is best, and what to look out for.
I don't need bling,( well, not too much, ), so just a good all round basic model will do.
Are there any re-calls that should have been carried out, service history, ( is this a must ), petrol/diesel? auto/manual?
As you can see, I am a real novice when it comes to these vehicles, so any help would be gratefully recieved.
Thanx,
Steve.

i assume your talking about the Range Rover Sport?,
the top of the range is the Supercharged HST with a 4.2 supercharged V8, im not too up on them but i think you can still get the N/A 4.4 V8 too or it may have been discontinued now, then you have 2 diesels the 2.7 V6 diesel which makes 180ish BHP and the new (and very good) 3.6 V8 diesel which makes around 270 BHP and doesnt really lose out to the N/A petrol one, apart from the Supercharged HST there are 2 trim levels for other variants i think SE and HSE with HSE being he better, im not really too up on the Sports i prefer the big Rangie, im sure someone will be along to correct me.

i think there are 3 variants. S, SE, and HSE. These refer to the trim levels, HSE being the best. There are many Range Rover Sports out there with HSE badges on the back, most of them are not! Its claimed that the 2.7tdv6 is a bit underpowered as the car weighs a lot and theres just not enough power. Hope that helps.

Apart from the Supercharged which comes with sports seats and a host of other enhanced trim over the HSE. Says me with a Supercharged
