Afternoon All, I'm thinking of buying a Defender and doing some off-roading. The one I'm looking at has been prepared quite well so seems rude not to test it out! Had Range Rovers and have done a bit of green laning before but nothing serious. Any recommendations as to local venues would be much appreciated! Cheers.

The place you want is woodlands.A few off of here went a few years ago.

Thanks Bluethunder, looks good! That other link has nothing to do with off roading so not sure whats happened there! Anyone got any other ideas for venues??

Hi

To be honest i would not take a nice Land Rover to Woodlands unless you want it trashed..... Their are too many idiots there and there are not that many good sections either.

If you just want some undamaging Green Laning, there are some crakers in Kent.

Yep - a few of us went a couple of times about 2 years ago, and really enjoyed ourselves! It's the only venue I've been to, but I thought there was a good selection of tracks and everyone else there was friendly - with a wide variety of vehicles.
