Buying RR 4.4 V8 Advice

I knew that was coming Phil....I thought mentioning the X5 would start some pro RR points to start flying in. When asking for this type of advice naturally and rightly so, the comments are what to avoid and horror stories, so come on, lets hear what the joys of RR ownership are. I had a 1990 3.9 SE which had been modded by Justin Banks and really did fly. They were still agricultural then but I loved it because I had a company fuel card :-) Happy days.
