does the pre heating system drain the battery in the cold

Hi I have the RR Vogue Auto Biog on a 2005 plate, I have trouble with the battery and starting in the mornings, the battery is only 9 months old and charges fine when the RR has been running for a while, does anyone know if the pre heating system drains the battery?

I have the Pre Heating, pre set for 30 mins prior to going into the RR in the morning?

The pre-heater does use the battery in so much as the fans come on to circulate the air. According to the manual though there is a safeguard built in to ensure that it doesn't come on if the remaining battery charge falls below a certain level.

I would suspect that something else may be putting a constant drain on the battery but these things can be very hard to pinpoint.
