I don't have Ultimatcher, only 'WhatIf', and I can't get the figure to get anywhere near £25 any result?

  • Edit - downloaded Ultimatcher v3.08 and can't even see a 'Refunded If' tab?*
OK, so you are looking to back and lay a correct score that is under 4 with as close a match as possible. In this instance 3-0 looks the best at 7.5 to back and 9.6 to lay. Also, you are looking to lay the score being 4 or more (over 3.5 goals in the Under/Over market) which is currently about 2.04 at BF.

In UM, on the bookie side fill it in like this:

Bet Type: Qualifier
Bookie: Paddy
Stake:£100 (if you want to go for the maximum refund)
Odds:7.5
Then go down to the Special Bonus and select 'Refund If' from the drop down.
Some other cells should now appear.
Refund Amount:£100

On the match side fill it in like this:

Bookie:Betfair
Stake Ideal: This is the ideal amount that you need to lay at BF
Odds Input:9.6

Then starting in cell S/T:32

This is where you fill in the 'Refund if' information.

Selection : Over 3.5 Goals
Lay odds on IF : 2.04
Exchange : Betfair
Skip to Y:34 Stake Ideal : This is what you need to lay on this market at BF

At the bottom of the bookie and match sides you get four outcomes which are basically, if the bookie or match side win with or without IF occurring. So, in this instance bookie side wins £22.38 with either IF result and the Match (or lay) side wins £22.34 with either IF result occuring.

So, you should make a £22.34 minimum profit on this bet.

I think this is right but its been a long day. I'm sure Rich will be along soon to mark it for us.............

Good luck

^ Nice work Jon smile

To reiterate, there are 3 types of refund-if scenario each needing treating differently.

You use UM refund-if tab if events are mutually exclusive. So like above, main bet is CS3-0 and refund if +3.5 - both cannot happen in a game.
This gives an equal profit out of any outcome.

You use what-if2 ss if both things could happen in a game. Such as main bet CS 3-2 and refund if +3.5, or say main bet CS anything and Red Card shown.
This gives an equal small profit for 3 out of 4 outcomes, and a big profit for the 4th outcome.

These offers use quite big stakes, particularly laying the main bet, so please do some dry runs first smile

Oh, the third type is such as 'refund if your horse finished second to favourite by less than a gnat's nadger' etc.
These are 'arb and hope' offers biggrin

Betfred Games Weekly Competition

Cardiff V Liverpool – Will both teams score?

It’s a momentous day for no nonsense, no neck striker Craig Bellamy as the boyhood Liverpool fan faces hometown club Cardiff City in the Carling Cup Final. The fiery Welshman has come out with a number of cryptic statements in the run-up to Sunday’s big game at Wembley hinting Liverpool have bigger fish to fry than the League Cup!

While ‘Bellers’ may not be too bothered about the outcome King Kenny will be desperate to repay his adoring Scouse support with the first silverware of the season!

To celebrate the big game I’ve doubled my normal bonus up to £20 and all you have to do to get your hands on it is tell me whether both teams will score!

Terms & Conditions

Competition runs from 00:00:00 GMT 23rd February 2012 until 16:00:00GMT 26th February 2012 ("Competition Period"). No entries after this date and time will be considered for the Competition.

Only players invited by Betfred to participate will be permitted to enter the Competition.

Invitation to the Competition will be by email or another method at Betfred's discretion.

To qualify for the competition entrants need to have made at least a £10 deposit into Betfred from 23rd February 2012

To win players must reply to promotions@betfredgames.com from their registered email address and correctly guess if both teams will score a goal in Saturday’s game between Cardiff V Liverpool. No telephone, chat or other form of communication can be accepted as a competition entry.

Offer only applies to 90mins of play and extra time or penalties will not count.

Competition prizes will be added on 27th February 2012.

Competition entrants must have played a game in the games channel prior, in order to be awarded the bonus.

Only one entry per person. In the event of multiple entries, the first received entry will count.

The maximum Competition prize is £20 or currency equivalent.

Players cash balance will be utilized before the bonus balance.

In order to withdraw the bonus and winnings from the bonus, players must stake at least ten (10) times the bonus amount.

The player has three (3) days to play the bonus before the bonus amount becomes void.

Only bets placed via the Games Channel will count towards the wagering requirements to withdraw the bonus funds.

Excluded games are excluded from forming any part of the wagering requirements.

Players may have only one active bonus on their account at any one time. If a bonus is active on the players account, then the player will not be awarded the competition prize.

Active bonuses cannot be cancelled, suspended or stopped.

Competition prizes are available only once per person, family, household address, e-mail address, credit card number, alternative payment method and environments where computers are shared (university, society, school, public library, workplace, etc.).

In the event that Betfred believes a user is abusing or attempting to abuse a cash prize, competition, bonus or promotion, then Betfred may, at its sole discretion, withhold the cash prize, competition prize bonus or promotion.

Betfred reserves the right to withdraw or amend this offer at any time, for any reason and without prior notice.

In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Betfred management will be final.

^ I like these. The Games bonus has a x10 wr. Playing Deal or No Deal £5 stakes (taking whatever the first amount you are offered each time) you should be able to extract most/more of that £20 in cash.

Having done it like this a few times, I'm even going to lay half the bonus amount against my guess to ensure a win.

Just remember to deposit £10 as part of the t&c's smile

No invite here. In fact, thinking about it, I've had no invite for any promotions at any bookies for ages. Didn't even get last weekends Mobile Madness info! frown

CS said no, as I've not played Games on there before.

Coral though, cashed out £45 up inc the £10 bonus.

May I recommend the Star Trek slots!

Only until 5pm. Pulled from mse as not totally risk free. Although bets voided at both paddy and BF if he doesn't play before 1st goal scored.

Aguero to score anytime for City at 4/1 Max £10. That's 2x market price.

When the BF to score market comes alive he should be under 3 to lay.

Reading the MSE threads a bit of chasing is often required for these refunds?

I've never had to chase a Live Casino £10 but have to go to live chat for the £5 vegas refunds every time (7am - 9am there is usually nobody in the queue). Casino slots are usually automatic as well.

Decided to change to the 3rd section for my roulette bet today after always going for the middle. Seen 6 middle sections come up in a row and it swayed me. You can guess what happened! 15 blacks in a row when the other half was on there earlier as well eek

Me and the other half had an invite, so we're guaranteed £20 on this one. Always stuck to roulette for the WR but think i'll give your DOND method a try on Monday

Actually for DOND I play the £10 in £1's or even 50p's keeping a note of how much I've wagered then do the £100WR in fivers smile
Just make sure it's DOND and not DOND Slot!!

Yep, Vegas Live Casino £10 refunds are usually automatic, and Casino Slots too - but for the latter you have to open a casino slot, see the £5 get credited, close the game then transfer it from your casino wallet to sports.

All sounds a bit of a faff but you get used to it and it's worth it smile
