Risk free matched betting using bookie offers
Discussion
Congrats Jon
Like you're going to have any time to do matched betting
Edit: 770 casino. Dep £30, email for refund on lose.
You'll get another £30 bonus money credited when you deposit, ignore this and it's silly WR.
Bet up to £30. If you win, you can withdraw if you forego that £30 bonus.
Example: I deposited £30, balance £60, won on 4th spin roulette (£36) so my balance was £92. Just withdrawn the £62 after agreeing to forego the £30 bonus (you get this option on withdrawal screen)
Casino770's withdrawals are faster than Bet770s, best to use Moneybookers.

Ok,
Finally getting ready to dip my toe into this...
Is my logic correct here and is this a sensible qualifier:
Back Man City @1.8 on VC
Lay Man City @1.81 on Betfair
Thus giving me a win/loss of minimal amount and freeing up my sign up bonus from VC?
Unfortunately I already have a Betfair account having previously opened for cash back from Quidco!! So no sign up bonus there

Poo! Limited at Sky. Shame, I really enjoyed my daily arb for the loyalty scheme. Mustv'e been my 13:10 yesterday, even though it lost.
My Sky P&L was been terrible too, hardly ever won. So your loss Murdoch
Interesting, how long have you been doing it? I've had £20 off my sky bill for the last 4 months but lately I've hit a run of winners (even a 14/1 shot ) so i'm expecting the gubbing stick soon. The OH has an account so will probably just move over to that if that happens and take the £20 FB insteadMy Sky P&L was been terrible too, hardly ever won. So your loss Murdoch
Having wasted months staring at the internet, well mainly Pistonheads, as work has been very sparse, I finally came across this thread and the Money forum and have read with interest.
So today I opened the accounts, one through Quidco, so up for a £50 free bet with Ladbrokes and £10 cash back, plus Betfair with £25 back if you lose your first bet.
Have backed £50 Man U to win and layed against at £48 something. Am I right so far? Backed at 1.28 and layed at 1.35.
BUT! like a plum I somehow backed on Betfair as well whilst trying to see if my bet was registered, tt that I am.
So if Man U win, I should be in a small profit before getting my free bet and if they lose, hopefully I'm covered somewhat by the £25 if you lose offer.
Correct me Richard if I am wrong. Interesting reading mate.

Man U won so I profited from my rookie mistake so my initial £100 is now £113 with a free £50 bet to use. (Plus £10 from Quidco)
What decimal odds should I be heading for when I next bet. I notice that if I bet £50 on a 9.0 my risk on a lay is over £200. Does that mean I have to deposit more money into Betfair just to cover it or should I just go for lower odds.
Thanks.

The higher the odds you use, the more of your free bet you will retain however the amount you will retain diminishes as the odds increase.
A good close match above 7 should give you a decent return.
Oh and yes you'll need to be able to cover the liability at BF. Up to you if you want to go for lower odds with a smaller liability and less return or increase your float and retain more of the free bet - so making more free money!

What I can't quite get my head around is no matter the odds, are they not cancelling each other out anyway?
Once I've got that straight in my head I'll be fine
