I'm in on this challenge, been wanting to do something for a while now but always planning too big and the risk put me off a little.

I'm going to be having a bit of an eBay clear out first to raise a bit more capital for my venture. All costs such as selling fees, shipping etc all to be taken from the £100 starting kitty. Does this comply with the rules?

Will post more info once I get started.

I've just 'found' £90 in my PayPal that I didn't know was there. I'll have a bash at this and I've got a little idea that could be fairly good.

Looking at the link you posted you can make and sell up to 7000 litres of Cider and Perry without paying duty (although you do need to still register).

Or how about real lemonade or other non alchoholic recipes.
Cheers. I can't work out if ginger beer is beer or not ? but if I mixed it with apple juice I could call it Ginger Cider.

As I'm based in Asia, my plan is too either buy aircooled VW parts from the UK and sell here in the Philippines, or buy Honda car parts in Thailand and sell them in the States.

The only issue I have is accepting payment as Paypal. Takes seven days to pay out here and sets me a low limit of what I'm allowed to withdraw. I don't intend to hold stock, just drop ship.

I had a bit of spare time so have made a couple of logos.

Not quite sure what you mean here.

Anyone else not doing a Delboy? Or am I the only one not trying to buy stuff and sell it on the online equivalent to Peckham Market?

Right now, I'm torn between putting pointless videos up on YT (people are bored enough to view st, frankly) and setting up a health/fitness website that covers the sort of stuff I've been immersed in for the last 8 months (no, not sweat hehe ).

Mines not Delboy - 1st prototype made, alterations designed, should be completed by next week. I will be using the 'bay to start selling, plus a small website to knock up in support. Must check the budget first though.

I just so happen to have discovered Lynsted Spring in my back garden last night.

No Delboying here.

Ive changed my mind, so the £1.04 I declared earlier no longer counts. (spent it before this thread started) so I'm back to £100.

I plan to start an independent cinema. This may prove difficult on £100, but I do like a challenge.

Its something I've always wanted to do. Providing I can beg or borrow (I wont go so far as to steal) some equipment, I can afford the licensing fee for a film or two and use word of mouth to advertise.

As for venue, Ive not worked that out yet, although, I could try and hire a screening room somewhere and hope enough people come to show a small profit.

Also, I don't really care if i smash the £100 budget, this is one of my dreams and if this serves as a catalyst to start it up, then its all for the better. I will try to stay within it to begin with though.

Mine did sound a bit delboy tbf!

I have a fair stock of car parts from a previous project that I will be selling off with the aim of sourcing and supplying affordable car parts to people without them paying these overinflated prices that most charge.

Had a lot of luck with this in the past for my personal projects so wondering how I'll get on.

Other option was to import martial arts goods from Thailand as I know how hard it is to get hold of certain things in the UK at an affordable price. Starting with low value essentials and working up to higher value items.

If any of you require a designer to help get your ideas off the ground, drop me a line. I’ll slash my design fees to almost nothing for the sake of seeing the challenge stay fun and viable—so long as I get a little creative freedom out of it as well.

If this takes off Wet paint - hats off to you fella!

Mind you; it feels like horse racing - start with a large fortune and end up with a small one......! smile

I have managed to procure a projector, sound stuff and a 'room' and have arranged that they don't need paying until after the film is shown, so theoretically, I still have the whole £100 to spend on the film itself and some munchies.

Providing i can drum up enough interest, it should work, if only as a one off.

(equipment/room from friends of friends etc, hence the rather helpful payment arrangements.)

I'm in - have a couple of ideas I'm pondering, but it will most likely be web-based.

What are the rules about using stuff we already own - e.g., taking photos for a website with an existing camera?

I'm in. Been sort of doing my 'idea' for a few months on a small scale but this is a great opportunity to ramp it up.

Its basically buying an item complete and stripping it to sell the parts on. I'm not going to give up my niche though, because profit margins are sometimes very good!

So do we all need to publish a photo of our balance sheet on the 31st March?
