Are we allowed to include things we've found after a while stacked under st that you'd forgotten about? I found loads to sell but will need the £100 for eBay fees more than likely.

I think you ought to include the cost prices of those items. Otherwise, someone could sell their Ferrari on Autotrader for £30...

I would have thought it needs to be sustainable as a business too. Essentially what you're suggesting is selling all of your possessions until you have nothing left. It's not so much "stock and re-stock" if you get what I'm saying.

Sure, I'll sell you an advert for a Ferrari for £25.

I'll get my wife to sell them later then.

Time to start hunting for stuff then.

As the OP, and unless there's particularly good reason not to set these rules, I will add:

You can't sell things you already own

As this is a fairly informal challenge there is no requirement to have you results verified. If you say that you generated X by doing Y then that's good enough.

Now that the thread appears to have gathered a bit of momentum, and with the deadline on the horizon, should we start to put a list together of challengers and their ideas?

Thanks. "darrensurrey" on YT (http://www.youtube.com/user/darrensurrey). It might not be quite as pointless as I make out but definitely no porn. I'm quite a prude, perhaps. Put it this way, if I were a duchess, I'd not be sunbathing topless.

I'm always curious as to how people make money out of YouTube clips. Care to share?

Advertising revenue from the pre rolls and those little pop ups at the bottom of the screen.

1000 views will get you somewhere between 50p and £5 depending on who you talk to.

So those people with 500k views per video, who put out 3 or more a week are laughing.

Yep. Those ads. Views = money, click-throughs = more money, clicking your own ads = find another revenue stream.
