Well I failed to get a reseller for my work. Ariel were interested in buying Atom ones from me, but weren't happy with the manufacturing costs so pulled out.

So, that was er, a lot of money down the pan going to Autosport for no return. bks.

Popped up lots of 'group buy' threads on forums now. Better return that way.

Well any business, whether starting up or not has a few failures. As long as there are some successes..

Good work changing strategy and looking for group buys. Perhaps you could do F1 cars?

Worth noting that "F1" and "Formula 1" are fiercely protected by copyright - worth noting and investigating prior to dropping any cash in that direction!

Yea F1 cars, not so great. I might look into it, and just make sure as to avoid any copyright issues, but for the moment I'll give it a miss. Can do a few rally cars though...

Trying to devise a plan with forum trading, as it's not always easy to sign up and start pulling people in for group buys without either having a million posts or paying through the nose for the privilege.

I've got my next art exhibition placement in April, but I think that's going to be too late to be included for this challenge.
Spent approx £50 on art materials & course fees with no sales to date.

This is an unfinished one I painted, oil on canvas, of our African Grey parrot "Henry" over 30 years ago. I gave it to my father and this is framed in his study. My Dad wants me to finish it, but I prefer to leave it as it is.

I haven't taken any photos of my recent work.

Ended up working with someone on another idea (fitness related) that's actually showing a lot of potential. Cost a bit more than £100, mind.

Bought a DC08 for £13.

Spent nothing on it, just stripped, cleaned and re-assembled it

Put ad on faceache

Had a message from someone and have a DC04 and DC07 halfway through a refurb each.

£45 per refurb, £90 in total. No spare parts needed so far.

DC08 still not sold, but up for £50

So potentially £140 profit from £13...

Have a DC07 up for sale too at £60, paid £10 for it, spent nothing on it again, so £200 from £13 if it all sells/lady is happy with the refurb (took £20 deposit so far)
