I have need of an online webinar platform capable of hosting presentations for 100+ people with a capacity to hold polls and have 'chat/Q&A' facility.

Looking at Gotomeeting for 100 delegates the cost is a flat £34 a month.

Has anybody used Gotomeeting or the competitors and know if it has these facilities and how easy it is to use?

I use goto everyday at work, although usually with much smaller groups (30 max)

It is incredibly easy to use and also easy to add course materials, content quizzes etc. You will also be able to control how interactive the sessions will be, so for that number of attendees you'll be better off muting everybody so that background noise is cutback and also you can manage the questions.

Goto webinar version will probably be best for what you need, over the similar goto meeting, only because the webinar version will group all questions together so you know what you're dealing with. It can easy to miss questions in goto meeting if you have multiple people asking at once through the quite small chat window.

Either one should do it. We use WebEx mostly because their licensing model worked out a better fit for us, plus the feedback we got was that it was easier to use, but it's one of those potato/potahto ones between those two really.

I have used some very clunky internal systems recently so anything has to be better!

We use GlobalMeet because it very rarely requires any downloads & our clients tend to have locked down machines. The functionality is good but I prefer Webex and I would use it if it didn't cause so many problems with the installer (same for gotomeeting)
