How much approx would a 6m x 4m driveway cosy to tarmac. With surface already prepped.

Thanks.
Locally the rate would start at £30 plus VAT depending on the surface finish.

Thanks for all the useful replies but these postcards are not to promote for domestic drives but targeted at potential commercial and industrial clients that have car parks, such as, super markets, hotel chains, schools, leisure centres etc.

Basically any organisation that have car parks to maintain.

Keep your ideas coming.
In that case I think you should say so on the card - 'we specialise in repairing commercial roadways' or similar

FWIW I like the "x% off with this voucher" idea. Also, the idea of postcards in general.
If you wet the new area before the photo, would it look better?

Yes, make it clear you specialise in commercial.

TBH I wouldn't use postcards, I'd produce an A4 4 pager with lots of photos and link it to your website. You just want people to remember you when they meet you. Perhaps give them something to remember you by (a tarmac paperweight, some novelty item?). Don't do offers or quote prices for commercial jobs. Emphasise your experience/locations where you have completed work, organisations you have worked for etc.

Headlines idea: Professional and experiences commercial tarmac speciailsts

For the postcard back ground I thought something like the image below using the light grey half tone picture of tarmac and have any pictures and text superimposed over it.

...this is certainly not my best work, I'm no graphic designer... but something I knocked up... had to massively reduce the image quality to be able to upload it...

This is the sort of thing I am aiming for, I will have my own photos but have changed the text slightly to the following:

Any input on font styles, size, colour or even rewording would be welcome.

Aren't postcards more of a domestic marketing technique?

Wouldn't most business owners just search as and when Tarmac repairs are required, therefore ensuring the right name/branding Google ranking are far more important?

Maybe advertising on local radio could be quite effective in getting your name known?
