Afternoon All,

We are still currently in our first year of business, but do extremely well and was at a client yesterday who uses MailChimp. After signing up myself this morning (Free to your first 2,000 subscribers) I must say I am very impressed what you can do with it, the look/feel of it is very good and the reporting side is also very good.

Does anyone else use it for business? Or do you have a better option?

It is something we are looking at bringing in.

Used both MailChimp and Campaign Monitor and happy with both.

CM have recently launched a new email editor which is supposed to make light work of responsive/mobile friendly emails, but I'm yet to use it.

Use it a bit, it's best really to use it for people who've definitely opted in to receive your important updates, vs entering a prospect list into it and letting it fire everything out.

Some mailers are blocked by recipients because they get misused, so bear in mind you want to take a good look at your bounce rates and if you get DSNs, what the reasons are

We use it and I think it's great. Integrates well with our Wordpress website too.

I find it excellent for what it does - ie allow you to easily design and send emails to a list.

We use Campaign Monitor for a bi-monthly newsletter to our suppliers and customers. Cant fault the service and the new design tools really do make it easy to tailor the template to suit your company image and branding etc. Previously it was a bit hit and miss and the templates were a bit limited but now it works really well.

When ever I send one out, I find myself glues to the world view report screen that shown little icons on a map whenever someone opens it.

Always disappointing when you look to see if a particular person has opened it and you find they didn't!
