There's a PHer who's recently been dumped with a large bizarre premium rate business telecoms bill, who I'm sure would be very interested in having a chat with you.

Can't recall who it was, though... getmecoat

^^^ Go on then ^^^

Explain more, please.
What would you like to know?

Client was very happy, our fee was less than our normal 50/50 but was still happy with fee.

In the case above it was an electricity bill that had been massively underbilled for 6 years, using knowledge of industry process's and ensuring we drip fed information to SWALEC we got facts applied in the correct order (call centres / massive corporates struggle with more than one fact being corrected at any one stage) to get the entire bill written off. Most people when they get large backbills for energy do one of 3 things..but we are the 4th option:
a) Rant and rave and refuse to pay, get taken to court and lose.
b) Go to the press and get 10% off for their troubles.
c) Get a lawyer involved who argues contractual clauses and hopes to win on a war of letters basis, doesn't actually consider induistry regulations/process's.

We deal with anything that's not a core cost to a business, so Fuel, Comms, Energy, Stationery/Ink (we set up buying groups on Stationery and could quite easily do a PH Business Forum group for example - someone will have to start a thread if interested), Merchant Cards, Logistics/Couriers, Cardboard Packaging etc etc. And we charge 50/50 - sometimes I make £10 sometimes a 5 figure sum.

Image above was best way I could post a picture in this thread.
Its not as difficult as you might think (not to take anything away from Mr Overheads - that is some achievement!).
Last year I wrestled a £20k cheque off Thames Water for overbilling sewerage charges on one of the properties I look after - and I am just a pleb!

I hope you're better than the jokers around West Sussex who seem to spend more time bodging rather than fixing - gives the industry a bad name that's for sure yes

Be patronised and chastised by useless signs such as these.
Be held up by these at 2 am when they turn to red because folk are too thick to be trusted to be able to drive around without them on when it's quiet.
You aren't involved with those hopeless digital motorway signs, are you?
Those ones that, at no point in their history of use, have ever displayed some genuine, helpful, correct info?
