About 12 months after you have bought it (not that actual one as I'm sure its perfect) I will charge you a large sum of money to (as examples)
sort out your electric gates because they were obviously wired up by a one armed blind man with parkinsons on a Friday afternoon after a heavy lunch
install an irrigation system because the architect "forgot"
integrate your rainwater system with your non-existent irrigation system because no-one thought of that
build you an extra garage because no-one thought it might be a good idea for you to be able to store your maintenance equipment
install a proper filter system in your pond because the water looks like pea soup
completely re-design your hardstanding area because the architects drew the accesses so tight you need to perform a 97 point turn to get your range rover in and out of the garage (which we have to re-design the doorways on anyway because they are too low to fit your RR in anyway.
Basically, I re-design and fix everything which all the 'professionals' have cocked up. Yes I have a chip on my shoulder. But it's a great earner.
No aftermarket handymen required for us. We do things right the first time sort out your electric gates because they were obviously wired up by a one armed blind man with parkinsons on a Friday afternoon after a heavy lunch

Do many of the designs get built?
Must be a wonderful thing seeing something you've conceived and designed become real.
All of them, these are working drawings, but I don't conceive or design them, I'm afraid, I just draw them up so that they know what lengths and angles to cut each piece and where to cut the joints etc.Must be a wonderful thing seeing something you've conceived and designed become real.

I've just started working with these machines, stuff like that hinowa 20.18, the bronto 34 etc. When they come back to us i get them all shiny and new again, check levels, and p.d.i them ready for the next job
Where are you based? We need suppliers all round, as we work all over.Got to say I've never been so scared as I was on that hinowa. Extremely flexible machine though, and we were the only company that could do the job, no others had he knowledge of using these and couldn't see a way to make it work.
I do this.
From your keyboard to the anonymous machines humming in some concrete bunker somewhere munching on your data.
Currently working on the sort of system that generates a terrabyte of data a day (not-so-big-data) and keeps it for years, but over the years I've developed for everything from single chips with 128 bytes of memory up to writing some of the first online banking and billing systems.
And in my spare time, I end up writing more software:

I couldn't agree more with you about the Hinowa, the "movement" when up certainly takes some getting used to, i nearly messed my pants in 1 the first time
I'd rather be checking a Leo 30 at full stick, than a Hinowa 17.80 at half.
Our firm have abit of everything really, but they are really big and very good at all the narrow access equipment that is their main field. Mind you they have just bought a new toy, a 42m Omme :0

Having trouble using my photobucket account so can't post pictures, but for the paying job I sell everything from tap washers to very expensive drills/sheds/lawn mowers.
For fun I make things with beads, not so much jewellery these days, more pens, tree baubles and such like.
Don't use photobucket, just click on the 'upload an image (beta)' link at the top of the reply screen. For fun I make things with beads, not so much jewellery these days, more pens, tree baubles and such like.
