We are designing a small hand held hydraulic rig that has a very unusual use (patent going through at the moment).

A long shot but can anyone recommend an expert in flow simulation or hydraulic design. We need to fault find a few areas and probably best in a CAD package that allows for fluid dynamics to be viewed or simulated on screen. I am sure someone with expertise in this area could suss out our issue quite quickly.

Much appreciated.

Op are you wanting pressured tests or just the flow test done. How are you connecting the hose's are using a single ear or are you swaging with MCR? the company I work for might be able to help as we work with lots of Hydraulic companys supplying Hose clamps for if not Ranger Cradic was do Hydraulic pumps and also prototypes will be able to help.

PM me if you want

Bump, just though I would try here again.

We have built a basic test rig but have some issues with closed vacuum pressures and also flow diameters.

Anyway what I really need to try and find is a product designer with hydraulic skills, if anyone could recommend a contact it would be very much appreciated.

I work for a large consultancy and probably have someone who can do it, but depends how much you're looking to pay?

For someone who could genuinely help I will pay whatever the going rate is for their time I suppose?
