Anyone involved in this area, I am trying to understand who manages the maintenance of the parks, in this instance the repairs to car parks and walkways etc.

It will be a property management team who will either be part of te Landlord or contracted by the Landlord to do the management. Do you have a specific retail park in mind?

I've done some accounting/auditing of these or similar in the past - from recollection it was the big survey/estate agency groups that were often involved in the management side.

The maintenance of the common areas i.e. Car parks/pavements/loading yards is normally within the estate service charge administered by a commercial managing agent on behalf of the landlord/owner. A good scheme will have the managing agents' details displayed somewhere on the scheme and if not, you can always ask one of the tenants who the managing agent is?
