If so, what's your experience with them?

My wife has izettle for in store payments and uses a mounted ipad to display the app for customers - I can't offer much info except that I know it works well...

Got one last year for the occasional craft fair etc that I do, as long as there is a wifi signal for the phone, it's a great piece of kit. I think mine paid for itself in the first two events. iZettle also transfer the money to your account pretty quick, I think the payments were taken on the Saturday and it was in my bank on the Tuesday, can't fault that.

I used to find that a lot of people didn't carry cash, so I can now catch them out on that by saying I take cards wink

It was definately £50 well spent for me.

How do they compare to there for fees?

We used iZettle for 2 years in a retail business doing, at times, 50k plus per month. Really good piece of kit. Some customers are a bit wary of it as it's mobile based but 90% were fine.

Emailed receipts are a good idea but a bit fiddly if you are very busy, and a compatable printer is expensive, but overall a very good system.

Will work with a decent mobile signal too so wifi isn't essential although it is preferable.

Fees vary depending on how much you take on iZettle from, I think, 1.5% to 3%

I've gone with Sumup in the end because of the lower transaction charges for me.

I've used it for a charity I'm involved in, worked a treat. Sadly the unit itself died so will have to get another but well worth it.

Does anyone know if there's a similar device that works with a PC?
