Epos Systems

I have a client who is going to be opening five shops. The thing is he was asking if there was an Epos system that can cover all five. For example if each had access to one onsite or cloud solution where all the data could go to be accessed and checked. I have looked at a couple but thought I would see if any PH guys had a system in place.

Wife has worked with a few systems with the Hilton and has been researching different ones for us to use in the future.

She says to avoid MICROS like the plague, I am sure anyone who has had to deal with will also say the same. She had good things to say about Squirrel POS.

Look at Vend for retail and Kounta for hospitality. Both the new wave of cloud/iPad pos.

Agree with earlier statement. Stay away from micro, or anything that looks 15+ years old.

If possible go to a show which has a few operators there and try them out.

The biggest thing is being able to change them, without having to pay a small fortune. As this is where people like MICROS make their money.
