Hi

I am expanding my existing business into another sector, the new part will have its own website. The company which handles our existing SEO is going to promote the new site but while that is happening I was considering using PPC advertising. I have a budget of £500 per month, I only want to target a small area with a low number of daily searches. For £500 does anyone offer to manage this for you, all the companies I have seen want a monthly spend of £5K.

Any advise or recommendations would be appreciated.

What your budget will get you depends on how much the keywords you need cost and the conversion rates all the way through to sale (and of course your margin from that sale).

There's no point spending £5k a month if you don't convert the traffic you entice...

Is your £5k your total budget or just the budget to pay a company to manage your actual spend?

I would (and do) manage my own. It's quite straight forward to do (tip - download Google Adwords Editor). I found a third party struggle to understand your business as you do and your requirements.

You can start off using small amount of cash to see how it works for you. The beauty of Adwords is you can see a return for your investment immediately and therefore decide how much to spend.

For £500 a month no one will do it or if they do it will cost £500!
Learn yourself start with one item but consider this - what does the clicker land on - a crap or a decent page ?
Waste of time Ifor its a crap landing page

How good is your website at converting your PPC visitors into leads/customers? If its not that good then you will be wasting your PPC money anyway.

Do you want to PM me the website address? I may be interested. I currently manage spend of about $50k per month and looking to pick up a few side jobs. I can send more details, eg Linkedin, of myself to you direct.
