Company name

Hi

Thought of a company name - it's being used by a Dutch company in a similar field. They don't trade in the UK though.

Can I still use it?

I very much doubt we'd ever cross paths.

Try asking them, rather than us

If you're in the UK and they're in the Netherlands then you'll be "AC123 Limited" and they will be "AC123 N.V." so you won't have the same name.

On the other hand if they are a big international player in your niche and their name has brand value then they might sue you anyway.
