LinkedIn is somewhere between the AshleyMadison of recruitment and a company directory of staff with some 'are you a genius' thrown in

I wouldnt bother spending your money, the people who are on there the most are those who dont do very much

How about the CIPD instead? They can offer sponsorship packages and you'd probably hit the people who're more likely to hold the budget for paying for these things corporately, rather than the people who probably need it but dont have the support to go get it

biggrin But I was hoping someone would tell me that my photo is stunning so that I can sue them and never have to work again.

Hadn't thought of the CIPD.

...or start up a "Stress in the Workplace" (or similar) Group on LinkdIn and create your own market!

Yep go organic and don't expect fast results, I only go on LinkedIn once in a blue moon, but I do return to it. An advert is likely to be short lived and target those that aren't that interested.

I have managed to acquire rather a large number of contacts in my sector on LinkedIn. I just download the lot as a CSV and then add them to our direct mailing software!

Lots of add "new connections" using a premium account. use your mobile phone, I found the app allows you to click on great numbers of people very quickly.

Remember however if they don't like you or dismiss/report as spam they could suspend your account.

As could your mailing software provider/ESP - it needs to be opt-in and while I'm sure it's a great way to get into a lot of people quickly, sometimes you've got to use your powers for good not evil
