I am looking to find someone that can manufacture or supply the electronic component parts for a "soil tester"
Specifically to measure PH, moisture and temperature. Something similar to this gadget: http://www.interkus.com/proshow.asp?id=153&ani...
Ideally we would like to work with someone on a cost effective tool, quantities would be in the hundreds but if successful I have a client that wants a 1000+ in a single order.

The product you have highlighted is all over EBay and Amazon like a rash and is manufactured in China.
It is probably manufactured in the 10s/100s of thousands and the ex works China cost is probably very far south of a fiver.
There is no way anyone over here could make a few hundred and compete with that.
