Went to see Spectre at iMax (thought it was 3D - mistake, might as well have gone to the local Cineworld - free parking!) - paid £20 per seat (the most I've ever paid for a cinema seat) and then got this yikes

Over £30,000/hour rofl

Aah the confusion between IMAX and IMAX 3D strikes again. Same screen just not filmed in 3D, and therefore, IMO, better for it. big screen and big sound made a difference in that.

As for the parking charge, I think I would just pay it and not worry... I mean, I'd only have to sell my house and then ignore the bank chasing me up, but certainly worth it for seeing Bond.

Picture the scene...

<bloke behind counter types amount> £9.50
<doesn't read screen and doesn't press enter>
<customer takes machine>
<types PIN without reading screen>
5201
<enter>
<receipt doesn't come out>
<finally reads screen>
That's odd, it's asking for my PIN again. Must've mis-typed...
<types PIN again>
5201
<enter>
<receipt comes out finally>

Worst "My card'll stand £95k being put on it by accident" thread ever, btw...

Followed shortly, I hope, by an AMG merc being parked next to a cashpoint and several PINs changed...

What, you think my credit limit is above this?! yikes Amount isn't checked until the bank is pinged - it didn't get to that stage. It's a bit of fun FFS - get a life!

It's probably a software fault rather than a user error. You'd be surprised how flaky some of these machines can be.
