If you are claiming mileage at say 40p per mile, you can, at the end of the tax year, claim mileage tax relief from HMRC and you'll get a rebate. You can claim this for up to 3 years. It's a simple online from and take about 10mins to complete.
Why is there a limit of 3 years? I have never heard of this and claim tax relief on miles on my annual tax return, never had an issue.
Never heard of a time limit either, been claiming that for 17 years now....unless there is confusion about a base location change. Then you have a time limit you can claim until the new base location becomes the default work place
Apologies, according to the HMRC form, you can claim for the previous 3 years in one go if you have not done so already. You can claim every year, but if you miss a year, you can still coin it the following year.

I need to question my current P11D value for my car, as our bookkeeper keeps incorrectly filling out the figure incorrectly.

My situation is that a run a JDM Subaru, which has no European CO2 figure, and, being under 2 liter, only gets taxed at 25%.

I need to find this information online, but I'm struggling to find the right information that I need to relay to the HMRC.
