Interesting one. The only time my company came close to being sued for negligence one of the main factors for the client not pursuing the case was that we didn't have indemnity insurance. Our legal costs for a defence would have eaten all the money in the company and the client would be left paying a large legal bill with nothing to show for it!

£651 for me
Although I sign off drawings and calcs.
It makes a difference.
Just tell them you do nuclear stuff......eek
