Is it proud? If so I'd use a dot punch and a small hammer. I'm sure there will be videos of the correct technique online...

You're sure it's not a reverse thread?

Good quality channel locks, should do it.
Those vice grips will not....you need the the biting surfaces to be parallel.

Give it a tap first.

Get a good grip then alternate loosen tighten loosen.

Grind two flat edges on the remaining threaded part and whack it in a vice.

Heat it or freeze it or heat one bit and freeze the other. This plan doesn't take the size into account but I'd have had a blowtorch on it by now.

yes Heat it up; let it cool; repeat a few times. Eventually the expansion and contraction will break the bond and you'll be able to unscrew it with your fingers.

Worst, "I've a Ducati 748R thread, evah!" wink

If you can, as noted above, file the thread so you've 2 flat surfaces, then use grips.
If you have to drill, you've probably ruined the nut, which you say you want to keep.

Best releasing oil ever - 50/50 ATF and Acetone. So nail polish remover and ATF. Leave it to soak for an hour (only needs a few drops), then unwind with ease.
