GMail for Business - anyone use it?

Google Apps and Office 365 are the main ones and IMO it can be a bit of a religious thing as if you like Outlook you may not like Gmail and if you like Gmail you may not like Outlook (folders vs. "tags" etc.).
Both are good solid choices.
Was always an Outlook fan. Both are good solid choices.
I use an Android phone & have done since 2011. I went with GMAIL as it was seamless (and free) on Android.
I could have used something for Outlook but was a hefty ££ at the time.
I haven't checked out the 365 options for Android.
The whole Google accounts thing drives me nuts.
We've used it since late 2006 when it was still in Beta. It does everything we want and is low cost (or free if you have grandfathered rights like us). I look after our team of 100 and I spend about 1-2days/year actually administering it which is pretty good. Plenty of our clients (FTSE100, Fortune500) have moved to it over the years which makes it easier. There are a couple of areas that Microsoft is way ahead on - Calendars and Lync/Skype for business. I am debating taking a separate Skype for business subscription in addition to our Google stuff. As other posters have said, if you are used to the MS way of doing things then O365 is probably your best bet. I don't think you'll be disappointed either way.
We use it - mainly as it is free. It does everything we would want and works really well with our android phones. I love the fact I can answer emails on a laptop, desktop and phone. I know that isn't very ground breaking but coming from a traditional pop mail server it was a massive leap forward. I used to work on Exchange servers (many years ago) and I like the functionality but the advantages of Outlook aren't worth the outlay when compared to gmail (for us).
Its also been 100% reliable which is nice.

How did you get it free, they are wanting about £3.50 a month for me as a single user. Its also been 100% reliable which is nice.
I moved our company over to Google Apps around 4 years ago, and we've got about 85 accounts. Works very well, quite flexible and, if you don't like the web interface, you can always use a mail client like Outlook or Thunderbird. Labels (rather than folders) and the great search options make finding stuff really easy.

It's all IMAP so you can use whatever client you want.
Yes I know, I'm just new to it and just testing different ways out and looking for reccomendationsGot it running on both Mail and Gmail app at the mo, a quick test indicates that the Gmail app is quicker and pops up on screen with a preview of the email.
