Hi

We are a small financial company selling a niche global product to banks, lawyers and similar financial organisations

Bulk if not all of our business is through recommendation and lots of repeat clients, so never really had to market ourselves much.

Just launched a new website and looking for a recommended company to assist with SEO, marketing and disgruntled former staff (later...)

Im clued up on the basics and have optimised the site to a basic standard, but have reached the threshold of my experience and googling for companies to assist further shows there are thousands out there. What I want is a company (small or large) that can specifically help us, rather than sell us an off the shelf service for £800 a month .

Ideally a company that deals with marketing as a whole would be beneficial, as SEO is only one strand

We also have a disgruntled former staff member (whom we really tried hard to accommodate) leaving bad reviews online , which is getting rather tiresome, we have dealt with the bulk of them but they keep coming, hence we want to drown them out with good positive content .

If anyone has any recommendations that could assist us, that would be most helpful, as I have had good recommendations from the forum in the past

Thanks TMMM

Regarding reviews, use an impartial service such as Reevoo or Feefo, who contact your customers on your behalf to leave a review. Then you know and your target audience know they're real reviews and not faked or biased

Cheers for quick response, we sell products and services in such small volumes to confidential clients, so not really appropriate

The reviews are on employee review sites, the trouble being that they are highly ranked on Google and the review host will not remove them even though we know it is one person posting the multiple vindictive reviews

Client had a rogue employee put up a none complimentary web site that was seo'd to the hilt and came top in a search for the company.
They put up blogs and did extensive seo for their own site but nothing worked.
We did a full Adword campaign and they had a customer also do
A campaign and the two Adword campaigns pushed the poor review site down the page.
This was cheap and instantly effective but is now superfluous as their own blogs and content have taken over.
If your still wanting to chat about a full online presence I'm happy to - no strings.
