Dad needs someone, he's an engineer and his company makes heating/plumbing products which he sells to hospitals and schools. Been doing it for years. Its quite a small company and the really pleasant lady he had working for him has decided she's after a different challenge and went to work in care.

He's ideally looking for someone local who is content to make a few phone calls, chase leads, and send out and chase mailshots - paying a commission on every sale. It's not something where you'd earn life changing sums but where you'd work at your own pace and he's certainly not going to be chasing every hour asking for figures. It was quite a shame that the last lady went as they'd been working happily together for quite a few years and she was good - the right mix of tenacious and easy. There's very little technical knowledge required - certainly nothing that can't be conveyed in an hour.

Where do we look? An agent would not be worthwhile for either of us I don't think - I used to be one. The previous lady coincidentally lived a few doors down and dad got talking to her husband while walking the dog so I'm fairly loathe to believe that the one person who would be suitable jut happened to live 20 metres away from us!

Thanks

I can see you are based in Worcester, I work technical sales for a plumbing and heating company based in Evesham. We've always hired through Adecco in Worcester, had some good people come from them.
