I am very open on here about what I do (its cathartic) and admit to my many mistakes because making them means your progressing just dont make big ones.

Our really big client project right now is many micro social influencers v one big daddy social influencer - I am favouring the former.
There's a very active Meetup / co-working /startup scene here in Cambridge so yes, I get the cathartic bit - there's a lot to be said for sharing and learning from each others' experience, as well as the network effects. The challenge these days is getting something that's 'real world good' rather than just a nice design idea or pretty website. I'd much rather be involved in a project that adds real cash value than the (many) that seem to be about just capturing users. If you can create business from social influencers, that has real value.

Sadly this didn't happen, the chap is one of life's good guys and makes huge contributions to animal welfare that meant it was had to configure a deal that suited all involved.
Its possible we could market to his database and donate to tne trust but that's not a given.
Feel a bit flat but it was obviously never meant to be.

Onwards and upwards though, there will be other opportunities .......
I'm going to update my "starting again" post as it's nearly a year since we set up Velstar (named after VE15 TAR) and it's been quite a journey.

Looking forward to it.

I kinda feel I should post about my drone software 'startup', but it never seems to be the right time to get retrospective biggrin

We're in the shopify partner one and we're in ecommerce but the knob quota was hefty.
Possibly ph should have a ecommerce sub section ?
