Worth asking, I suppose... Im keen to get a TVR, but dont have the cash. If anyone has the need for a top of the range website (we do e-com, database driven backends in php mysql, asp and access, coldfusion, cgi, you name it... in exchange for a beat up burnt out (ok... not literally) tvr of some description give me a shout. Its a long shot but you never know

Any particular TVR? If I buy a knackered high-mileage S for a few hundred quid will that suffice?

Well, Im just curious that on the offchance there's someone who might be able to strike a deal, and it goes without saying that good deal would be one where both parties come away smiling It's highly unlikely that a private owner is gonna want a website worth 10-50k but if there was, and said individual had a motor on offer, it would make an interesting exchange But yeah, Im happy to put out double or tripple the value of the car in the way of IT systems and solutions... if I can afford to which I think I can

RE: which tvr, I had my heart set on a cerbie, but until I can afford one, I'd be chuffed with any TVR, if it was in good shape...

Im already chuffed I've had a reply

Check out a system called Barter Card. It's a process whereby you exchange products or services for "Barter Points" that can be exchanged for other goods and services from companies who have joined up to the system.

It allows you buy stuff without affecting cashflow.

Be warned though, keep a lid on what you do on Barter Card or you'll end up with more points than cash!

Don't know if there are any car dealers on the system though.
