Finding Very Thick Steel Cable

I need to find out where to get some heavy duty steel cable (that's in pristine, shiny condition) for a photo shoot on Monday. Does anyone where I might be able to find some.

Ideally I'm looking for something around 1.5" thick. Maybe 10 meters of it, or several 1 meter lengths.

Try Bridon Ropes. I haven't used them for years but they do everything from excavator and crane cables to marine ropes through to structural cables.
They should heve something to suit your application, although I don't know what the cost will be.
