Sorry ... didn't mean to sound like a cock?! It just doesn't seem a lot for what would effectively make you nocturnal permanently - I mean, there would be no chance to really swap back to days at the weekend either. Or is there some sort of rota in there that I've missed from the advert?

wink Don't worry, I'm just touchy as everyone wants everything handed to them.. no-one wants to work their way up the ladder anymore.

This is the bottom rung position, as mentioned in the Add, ideal for a College leaver (ie someone with no/little industrial experience) who wants cut their teeth on the sector, and then move up!

I've no intention of sticking someone on the graveyard shift indefinitely, hell, I WANT to promote them off it in time, as I want to keep the staff for ever.. so it's in my interest to train, promote and motivate, but hell, SOMEONE has to do the shift smile

On nights they'll have plenty of time to learn and study.. Night shifts are where I learnt all I know today, and it's what helped me make the company so strong and profitable! And I can't very well put my best guys on it can I? smile

Without those nightshifts at my first employer to give me the time AND motiation to better myself, I'd likely be stuck in some middle-management role somewhere.

Work your way from the bottom, and the only way is up!
